Karla has had a varied and creative career incorporating interior design, completing both commercial and residential projects, and creating a high-end Artisan confectionery brand which is celebrating its 10^th Anniversary this year.

Karla has always loved modern art and was looking for striking 3D pieces to compliment her contemporary home which she designed and project managed. Her search for the right art proved fruitless therefore Karla decided to create her own art and drawing from her own personal love and appreciation of colour, shape and particularly geometric structures, she has created 3 dimensional pieces of installation art that are beautiful, dynamic and colourful thought provoking images that work on different levels and with infinite lighting and shadow possibilities.

Karla’s work explores the relationships between light, vibrant colours, movement, shape and structures involving the viewer in a dialogue in relation to the perception of how the image should be viewed.

With her immaculately finished, strong and defined images, Karla’s works are statement pieces in any interior space.
